Why can’t I use my NLT email for tnm.me?

The TNM uses two main systems to conduct business: The first and foremost is tnm.me and the second is the Google Workspace. Each system requires a distinct login ID and password.

When you first came into the TNM, you entered as a supporter at tnm.me. You created an account with your personal email address as your login ID. This email address acts a permanent identifier for almost everything you do as a supporter, as a certified petition circulator, and while you’re in the NLT, as a leader who can submit and report on events. Think of it as a key that unlocks every option available to you at tnm.me and on the TNM mobile app.

For the duration you are a member of the NLT, you are assigned an additional account in the Google Workspace, such as [email protected]. Think of this account as a company account, subject to the limitations and scrutiny of the TNM. Your Google Workspace account allows you to communicate internally with other members of the NLT and gives you an official email address with which to communicate to people outside the TNM regarding TNM business. While we hope you will always support the mission of the TNM, once your work as NLT is finished, your Google account is deleted.
Just as you should never use your business address to create a shopping or social media account, you are prohibited from using your Google Workspace email address for your personal tnm.me account.
